Yet to another celebrity collaboration, Rykiel presents her somewhat less hyped about lingerie collection (in the shadow of the Jimmy Choo riots). I knew it was discreet in its promotion when I arrived at Manchester's H&M store in a delicate state, after my plans to arrive at 9am disappeared after deciding to go out on the Friday night, and there was a selection of merchandise to choose from.
I was impressed. Beautiful silk chiffon knickers with extravagant roses adorned on them, trademark Rykiel stripes in casual shorts, bra and night dress. There was a buzz around the display as people picked up affordable gifts for themselves and for christmas. I questioned the fit of some of these garments, but again with most fashion led high street stores, you pay for the styling.
This collection from the legend Rykiel, was simple, chic and affordable. Everything you want from a designer diffusion range.
