Sofia Coppola in Marc Jacob's campaign shot by Teller
I watched one of my favourite films (and soundtracks, cannot ignore Air here and a little bit of Heart) last night. Sofia Coppola's debut, The Virgin Suicides...70's affluent suburban America, unbelievable to watch through piercing sunlight and stuffy houses, it is one of the most inspiring films. Whilst I was at university I based a womenswear project on the film. Costumes are real and adorable (dates names inscribed on girls knickers) and the loss of innocence, brilliant...and you will fall for Trip Fontaine.
