Ashley & Mary-Kate Olsen may be newcomers to the runway but not to fashion. Over the years, they've strayed from acting and have dove head first into the world of fashion. Their label, The Row, is three years running and just had its first big time runway show in New York yesterday. The show took place in an old warehouse. It was left bare except for a vintage chandelier and many white flowers. The main fabrics used in the collection were leather, black silk, and cashmere. The collection was elegant and simple. It wasn't trying to hard or screaming "look at me" and "I'm new and crazy". I was glad that it was more subdued, and it showed the Olsen's wonderful taste, sense of style, and maturity. Their first show promises much success in the future.
So what do you think of the Olsen's collection. Are the newcomer's collection a hit or miss?
