FIRST LOOK! Colette Malouf's Gorgeous Summer Hair Accessories

To all the Glamazons who wrote in on Facebook and Twitter to say they LOVED the hair accessory I wore to the MET Gala, I have a surprise for you: I chatted with the talented designer behind my headband, Colette Malouf, and previewed her summer collection!

Colette Malouf is a goddess in the world of hair accessories. She has the number one brand of hair accessories worldwide. Her success is a testament to her eye for detail and her attraction to all things artsy, elegant and glamorous.

You may have seen Colette's work on two familiar pop culture phenomenons, Sex and the City and Gossip Girl. A proud New Yorker (born and raised in Soho), Colette artfully blends the edgy and creative flair of the city's fashion scene, making her a perfect match for both iconic NYC-based shows. But Colette's inspiration extends far beyond the city skyline.

Colette's latest breathtaking collection, which includes (to-die-for) jewelry, is inspired by her travels to Africa. "My inspiration was from my trip to Kenya. I went to Nairobi and on safari, and met all these wonderful Massai warriors who were gorgeously dressed," she told The Glamazons. "I was inspired by the mix prints and beautiful geometric designs that the Kenyan women wear on a daily basis."

If you are obsessed with headbands (like me), look no further than Colette Malouf's Spring collection. The pieces are full of life, energy and vivid color.

These ponytail holders are simply adorable!

The jewelry---necklaces, rings and bracelets---make for beautiful, bold statement pieces.

Here's the headband I wore to the MET Gala. Isn't it stunning? (See the pic above.)

The headbands below are even more gorgeous on! Scroll down for a picture of the feathery handband on the lovely Colette Malouf representative at the department store...

Breathtaking, right?

Colette Malouf's shop will be set up and featured in the window of Henri Bendels in NYC until the end of this month. For more information and to shop her gorgeous collection, visit Colette Malouf on the web.

Kisses,

Coutura
