GET THE LOOK: Hilary Swank's Gorge 1960's Pin-Up Girl Beauty Look At The 17th Annual SAG Awards

Hey Glamazons! Now if there was one thing that bored me to tears Sunday night it was definitely the 17th Annual SAG Awards show. [insert yawn here] However, there were a couple of stand-out beauty looks that made me go "oooo" and "ahhh" and Hilary Swank's was most definitely one of them. Not only did she look amazing in that champagne-colored Versace gown (Side note: her bod is beyond banging! She confessed to E!'s Giuliana on the red carpet that she works out at least 4 times a week mostly because she actually loves doing it. Sigh. If only I could develop an attitude like that!) but her hair and makeup were to die for. Her look reminds me of a 1960's pin-up girl and, of course, I was pretty much right on target with the inspiration behind her look because that's exactly what celebrity hairstylist Robert Vetica (who used Moroccanoil products) was going for!

Here's how he created the look:

-After shampooing, blow-dry hair using Moroccanoil Treatment to instantly condition, bring any dry ends to life and make hair easy to style. It also gives the hair a brilliant, natural-looking shine.

-After the hair is dry, curl 1" by 1" sections of the hair with a curling iron, starting at the nape of the neck and then pinning to the head. These were real, full base curls, not spiral curls. Continue section by section until you reach the crown and then finish the sides and top of the head. Once done, you'll have that 1960's roller set type look.

-Set the hair with a good spritz of the Moroccanoil Luminous Hairspray and let it sit for about 20 minutes to insure a good, healthy-looking set.

-Next, give the set hair a good brushing. Then, add in a small amount of Moroccanoil Hydrating Styling Cream to give the hair a touch of weight and ensure body.

-To finish, remove the set and give the hair a good backcombing at the root and spray again. Most of the backcombing was brushed out except for at the crown where he ran his fingers through the hair to loosen it up. Then, backcomb a bit more at the crown, give another spray and lightly brush over the top.

Hilary's makeup was done by celebrity makeup artist Kara Yoshimoto Bua using all CHANEL, of course! Here's how she created the look:

"Hilary's eyes were extended out with the CHANEL Eye Definer in Brun-Cuivre. I blended along the entire upper lashline, lower lashline, on the outer half of the eye and into the crease to create the more graphic shape of the 60's/70's lined eye. I finished off the eyes with the CHANEL Inimitable Intense Mascara in Noir and used Ardell individual lashes on the outer half of the eye. Her cheeks were warmed up with a peachy tone using CHANEL Powder Blush in Fresque. I kept the lips softly lined with CHANEL Lip Definer in Beige, and moistened with CHANEL Rouge Coco Shine Lip Colour in Canotier."

What do you think of Hilary's beauty look here, Glamazons? If you live up north like I do, you might as well nab these products and try re-creating the look on your own! It's a great snow day activity hahaha.
