GLAM OR SHAM?: Johnny Depp A Mess While Filming

I'm totally one of his biggest fans, but why does he always look a mess in this new film he's making?
He makes me swoon in makeup and costume [hello, Pirates of The Carribean] but when he's like this, I can't even look at him. Maybe others of you love his scruffy I-Just-Rolled-Out-Of-Bed look, but I just don't approve. But he could make me swoon later [minus Alice in Wonderland...ew.]

What do you think, Glamazons? GLAM or SHAM?

Alice In Wonderland

Alice In Wonderland's Fashionable Cast
Mia Wasikowska in Teen Vogue

The UK Premiere
Anne Hathaway, Mia Wasikowska, and Johnny Depp

pictures from instantcast, aceshowbiz & teenvouge
Today I saw the long awaited Alice in Wonderland. It was amazing, and Tim Burton did a fabulous job. I was pleased to see that the movie sported many fashionable dresses and interesting costumes. Every time Alice would grow or shrink, I would fin myself waiting to see what her next outfit would look like. They were all so pretty and feminine. I especially liked the one she wore after being shrunk to fit into a teapot. It had an oversize flower on that looked like something you would see coming down the runway. One of the reasons I wanted to see the movie was because of the director, Tim Burton, and the wonderful cast. Alice was played by Mia Wasikowska. I wasn't sure who she was until getting the March issue of Teen Vogue. I loved the photo shoot they did. It was definitely "Alice" inspired with its many flowers, animal shaped hedges, and deco swans. I was also excited for the movie since I knew Johnny Depp (Mad Hatter) and Anne Hathaway (White Queen) were going to be in it. Ever since the first Pirates came out, I've loved Johnny Depp in every movie I've seen him in. He is such a great actor and so versatile. Anne Hathaway also did a wonderful job as the White Queen. If you haven't seen Alice in Wonderland yet then I recommend you do. It was wonderful. I watched it in 2D, but if you've seen it in 3D then tell me how it was.

StarDust On My Eyes: New Faves From Urban Decay

Hey Glamazons! All that glitters is always gold in MY book. A few months ago I had the privilege of attending an Urban Decay luncheon with the company founder and a group of beauty editors where they presented us with the Alice in Wonderland Book of Shadows (more on that in a bit) and these atothemazing new eye shadows called StarDust. Sparkling, glittery eyeshadow shades in fun jeweled tone shades and even a dazzling inky black?! Oh, happy day! I love them. Each and every one. They go on surprisingly smooth and you don't have to worry about the sparkly dust falling all over your face throughout the day (or night) because it stays put. The other cool part about these eyeshadows is the chic new packaging. Just one tiny squeeze and the lid pops open.

Urban Decay has also launched Eden, a matte addition to the Primer Potion family. (If you've never tried their eyeshadow primers, I highly suggest you get into it. It's by far the best way I've found to keep my smoky eye looking fab all night long!)

AND (because we can never have enough eyeliner in life) be sure to pick up the newest additions to the 24/7 Glide-On Eye Pencils family: Binge (finally! a navy); Mildew (a dark green based on their best selling eyeshadow); Oil Slick (my fave! black with silver sparkle); and Crash (a rich deep eggplant). Let us know what you think after you test each item out!

Fashionable Alice in Wonderland

Alice in Wonderland heels by Nicholas KirkwoodI don't know about you, but I can't wait till Alice in Wonderland comes out. The previews have me believing that Tim Burton's next movie to hit the theaters is going to be a one-of-a-kind and a must see. With actors like Johnny Depp and Anne Hathaway staring in it, its sure to be a hit. I saw on style.com that the French store Printemps is going to have their windows Alice inspired in March. The windows were done by Nicholas Kirkwood, Maison Martin Margiela, Charles anastase, Chloe, Manish Aror, Christopher Kane, Alexander McQueen, Haider Ackermann, Bernhard Willhelm, and Ann Demeulemeester. Below are the Alice inspired designs.
