AD GLAM: Evan Rachel Wood Is SMOKIN' In The Ads For Gucci's New Women's Scent 'Guilty'

Um, wow.
As previously reported earlier this week, Evan Rachel Wood shot the ads for Gucci's latest women's scent called Guilty. And, just as I predicted, this advertisement is debauchery incarnate! I mean, I feel guilty just looking at it! (Hence, in my book, it WINS!) It's sexy (without being raunchy) and I live for the subtle smokey eye Wood is rocking.
Frida Giannini, Gucci's creative director, describes the campaign's protagonist (ie Wood) as a "daredevil who takes risks."
I'm going to take a "risk" and add this sexy, gold scent to my boudoir as soon as it hits shelves in September. Oh, and just in case you want to start saving up now so that you can nab your own as well, here are the prices:
-$55 (for 30 ml)
-$74 (for 50 ml)
-$94 (for 75 ml)
-$39 (for deodorant spray)
-$49 (for body lotion)
-$42 (for shower gel)
-$50 (for body-shimmer powder)

So, what do you think of this ad, Glamazons? Do you think it's sexy? (Or maybe you think it's skanky?!) Tell us!

Gucci Reveals Name Of New Women's Scent

Remember when I told you about Evan Rachel Wood (ie True Blood's Vampire Queen haha) getting a fragrance deal with Gucci? Well, the brand was keeping all deets about the fragrance under wraps...until now!
According to today's issue of WWD, the scent is called Gucci Guilty and will hit shelves in September 2010. The brand recently shot the TV commercial for the fragrance (starring Wood, of course) and directed by "Sin City" creator Frank Miller. No other leaks on the actual commercial, but considering that the name of the fragrance includes the word "guilty" and that it's directed by a guy who creates "sin," I'm sure it will be extra debaucherous! (Much like the photo above of Wood...which btw is totally not related to the fragrance...I just thought that it matched the whole them of "guilt" and "sin." Wouldn't you agree? lol)

True Blood's Vampire Queen Gets A Fragrance Deal!

Ok, it's really actress Evan Rachel Wood, but you may know her best as the Vampire Queen from HBO's 'True Blood'.
Side note: Don't you just loooove that show?! My fave character is Lafayette...he cracks me up.
Wood, 21, will be the face for Gucci's newest women's fragrance (no details on that just yet or when we'll start to see the ads). Here's what Frida Giannini, Gucci creative director, told WWD about why they chose her to represent the brand:

"She's young, but rising and [an] influential figure. I didn't want to offer this project to someone overexposed or too well known. Instead, I wanted a fresh individual that would coincide with the image of the project."

Hmmm...a fresh and new face....we can dig it! What do you think, Glamazons?
