GLAM OR SHAM?: Glee's Lea Michelle at the 2010 Primetime Emmy's
For a relative newcomer to the red carpet, Lea Michelle has formal beauty and glamour down to a science. I regularly love everything she wears at award shows, and her latest look is no exception.
She graced the red carpet at the 2010 Emmy's in an Oscar de la Renta gown that brought the drama. She went for all-out glamour by pairing it with a dazzling diamond necklace.
While her bangs were trendy and chic, I would've prepared an elegant updo for this look---and let me add that the wind wasn't on her side on the red carpet. Click here to find out which beauty products she used.
What's your verdict on her look? Glam or Sham?

GLAM OR SHAM?: Judge the Looks from Glee's Lady Gaga Episode + Video!
If you're anything like me, you went Gaga for Glee's tribute episode last night.
Alongside amazing renditions of hits like "Bad Romance," and "Poker Face," the Glee cast each dressed in one of Lady Gaga's trademark looks. From the plastic Armani Prive construction at the Grammy's to her famous dress of Kermit the Frog stuffed animals, it was all there in it's outlandish Gaga glory. Even football player, Finn (Cory Monteith), wore a red dress like Gaga's famous outfit to meet the Queen.
I won't give away too much of the plotline (which is oddly, or fittingly, dramatic) but I will say the mini-Lady Gaga fashion show during their 'Bad Romance' performance made my year (Walk, walk, fashion, baby...). I LOVE that Lady Gaga has enough iconic looks to outfit the entire Glee squad! But as the resident Queen of Glee, Kurt, said "She changes her look faster than Brit changes sexual partners." Indeed.
Costume designer, Lou Eyrich, insists that that the plethora of Gaga-inspired "costumes are not replicas." She told InStyle "We wanted it [to] look like the kids made them." Umm...I could never make a dress of bubbles like the one Tina (Jenna Ushkowitz) wore but okay.
Check out the looks below alongside the Gaga-inspired outfits. Did Glee's hair/costume people do a good job on recreating?
And scroll down for video of Glee's 'Bad Romance' performance.
Who could forget Gaga's bubble outfit? Tina (Jenna Ushkowitz) gets to rock the look.
Gaga's plastic Armani Prive dress at the Grammy's was a fashion hazard. Quinn (Dianna Agron) wears the dress to cover up her baby bump in pink.
Has a lobster head ever looked more high fashion? Britney (Heather Morris) nails the look.
One of my favorites, Mercedes (Amber Riley) recreates Gaga's bow hair with a purple wig!
The costume designer, Lou Eyrich, dished to FOX that she scoured yard sales for stuffed animals to create Rachel's (Lea Michelle) interpretation of Gaga's Kermit look.

Get into it! Kurt (Chris Colfer) gets to prance around in Alexander McQueen-inspired heels like in Gaga's 'Bad Romance' video. Lucky guy!
Here's the performance via MTV/Fox:
What do you think of the looks? Were they on point? What's your favorite? I liked the lace unitard, and the McQueen-inspired heels the most.
And how much did you LOVE the episode? (P.S. I'm totally going to be Gaga for Halloween! If she's still popular...)

I Heart Glee! And Sue Sylvester's Spoof of Madonna's Vogue
Along with most of America, I watched the Glee season finale on the edge of my seat. I was given life anew as Rachel (played by Lea Michele) belted out Barbara Streisand, leading my favorite gleeks to win the state competition. Behind-the-scenes, Mr. Schuester had declared his love for Ms. Pillsbury, Quinn and Finn were officially over, Sue Sylvester had finally been defeated and Kurt was still gay as glitter. Amazing!
Then, a hiatus. After playing the finale more times on my DVR then I'm willing to admit, I was thrilled to see Glee return last Tuesday. I missed most of the show, but caught one scene in my hotel room that changed my life for the better: Sue Sylvester as Madonna. With cone bra and all.
I pretty much listen to Vogue atleast once a day while traveling on the 2 train into Manhattan. And as our beloved makeup artist, AJ Crimson said, it is among the best songs, and videos, ever made.
Glee and Vogue, two of my fave pop culture moments, together? More happiness than I can stand!
Check Sue's hilarious parody of Madonna's classic Vogue video below:
Ok, and that's not all. Next week, the entire episode will be dedicated to Madonna! Gleeks, prepare to die and be reborn!
Will you be tuning in? Do you love Glee as much as I do? What'd you think of the comeback episode?
