Kate Hudson WINS With This Red Lip

Reason number 2,342 as to why a ravishing red lip will never go out of style: this picture of Kate Hudson taken yesterday at the Tribeca Film Festival premiere of her film The Killer Inside Me. Hudson is definitely giving us a new definition of killer beauty with this glamazing bombshell look. I love everything about it: from the capetastic outerwear to the blonde, voluminous coiffed tresses. But, it's the red lip that reels me in. Maybe it's the rumored boob job that she's recently had that's given her the confidence to rock this vampy beauty look? Whatever it is, I approve and hope that she'll start to rock many more.

A Day In The Life: My MAC Pro Makeover

Hey Glamazons! If I could get my makeup professionally done every day, I'd be in heaven. So, when I received the e-mail inviting me to a fun night out on the town with other beauty bloggers by MAC, I quickly said yes. And how did the evening start? With a makeover at the MAC Pro store of course! In the words of my good friend Felicia Sullivan, I just knew it was going to be epic. Just check out these pictures below. Afterwards, we were treated to a screening at the Tribeca Film Festival of the movie 'Every Day' [um, Liev Schreiber is beyond hot] and then enjoyed an amazing dinner at NAM.

The artist responsible for my fabulous makeover, Romero Jennings, applying my lashes.

The finished look. Beyond fab!

Showing some love to my sista from anotha mista Heather Park.

Rockin' our finished looks! From l to r: Anne Fritz of The Jet Set Girls; Felicia Sullivan; Dina Fierro; Me; Eva Tolk

The Secret To Ellen Barkin's Perfectly Chopped Bob

Life in New York is pretty amazing. You never know what's going to happen and the opportunities that are going to come your way. So, when a friend called me Friday night and told me to meet him at 1Oak for the after party of 'The Chameleon' screening (as part of the Tribeca Film Festival) I was all over it. After sipping specially made Stoli cocktails and taking pictures in a photo booth reminiscent of the 1920's, we were just about ready to head to the next scene when in floated actress Ellen Barkin. And I kid you not, the woman was floating. Her skin was glowing, she couldn't stop smiling and her hair was nothing short of fabulous. Yes, I was more enamored with her hair than anything. One of the cutest, choppiest blonde bobs that I had ever viewed. She only stayed for about 10 minutes and when she was leaving I couldn't help but to approach her and ask: Who does your hair? I exclaimed that I loved her hair color and the cut. She smiled, thanked me and thought for a moment (because, as an actress, there is always more than one person styling your hair from day to day) and excitedly replied Serge Normant of the Serge Normant at John Frieda Salon, located at 825 Washington St.
A quite fabulous salon that I myself had the priviledge of experiencing a stylish sesh at not too long ago along with some other beauty bloggers when I was rocking extensions. (See pic below, hot right?!) The best part? She even said that her hair looks a lot like mine. Love!
