Show Your Superbowl Spirit With Victoria's Secret PINK's NFL Collection

After 16 football games over a 17-week period, the main event is finally here. Glamazons, it's Superbowl time!

Victoria's Secret PINK knows that some of the most die-hard football fans happen to be fierce femmes. That is why they have created an adorable NFL collection. Whether you want to flaunt your team colors in a pair of logo-clad undies a, a studded hoodie, or a vintage football jersey-inspired T-shirt, they've got you covered.

I have a little bad news for Green Bay Packers fans out there, only one half of this year's Superbowl participants will have gear available and that is the Pittsburgh Steelers. (Bummer, right?)

Items for 13 of all 32 teams, such as the Cowboys, Jets, Patriots, Redskins and others are currently available in stores and online. The full PINK NFL collection is set to launch this Fall. Prices range from $10.50 - $54.50.

Shop here:

I'm already planning my game day gear and it looks like I might have to take a trip to Victoria's Secret today! (Does a little shimmy singing "black and yellow, black and yellow, black and yellow!")

Are you excited about the collection? Will you be adding the PINK NFL collection to your game day?

Ciao Bellas!

Holiday Gift Guide 2010: Sexy Beauty Treats From Victoria's Secret

OK, who doesn't want to be a holiday bombshell?! Because I most certainly do.
Luckily, Victoria's Secret (which we all known is notorious for emitting sexpot type things) has all of these really great beauty sets that you should probably give to your friends and family. (Or, you could be like me and just hoard them all for yourself.) Either way, someone is going to be looking (and smelling!) like the business. Translation: "the business" is like the equivalency of saying "thebomb.com" or like how I would say "sexpot" in that all eyes will be on you because your skin is glowing and smelling delicious which leads to extreme levels of attractiveness. And we all know what that can lead to...tee hee hee. I should also mention that there are VS stores everywhere, so these are perfect last second gifts that you won't have to spend alot of money on.
(beginning from the top left)
Star Bright Beauty Rush Gloss Set
When in doubt, give a gloss! I mean, I haven't found a female yet who doesn't love these VS Beauty Rush glosses. (I used to purchase them by the dozen in high school and college!) This set features six limited-edition holiday flavors in a cute star-shaped box.
Price: $25

The Ultimate Heavenly Gift
A cult classic fragrance (the scent evokes so many memories..most of them centered around cute boys, of course) comes packaged in a pretty box. This set features Heavenly Eau de Parfum (2.5 oz), Angel Wash (3.4 oz) and Angel Touch Lotion (3.4 oz).
Price: $58

Best Of VS Fragrance Set
Can't decide on which fragrance to give? Why not choose them all?! This set features seven of the brand's best selling scents: Dream Angels Heavenly; Very Sexy; Body By Victoria; Victoria's Secret PINK; Sexy Little Things Love Rocks; Sexy Little Things Noir; and (my fave!) Victoria's Secret Bombshell. Each scent comes in those cute mini .25 oz sizes, which means it's perfect to throw in your bag (along with your VS Rush lip glosses, of course).
Price: $40

Secret Garden Splash & Lotion Set
Who can forget that VS makes the best smelling body lotion in America?! Certainly not me. Which raises the point that this set is the perfect way to keep your body smelling delicious and feeling super soft and sumptous. (Cue the idea of guys not being able to keep their hands off of you here). This set contains both body lotion and splash in their top selling scents: Love Spell, Amber Romance and Pure Seduction. Great for travel as their only 4.2 oz each!
Price: $22

Because makeup is always a good gift (and those New Year celebrations are right around the corner!) you should probably also check out the VS Holiday Makeup Collection. Plus, who doesn't want to look like Adriana Lima?! Side note: I met her once and she's really this gorgeous. See proof below:

Sigh..isn't she gorge?! But, back to the makeup collection:
(from left to right)
Deluxe Lip Palette in Temptation: Contains both lipsticks and lipglosses
Luminous Highlighting Powder in Starlit: Three pearlescent, shimmering shades perfect to highlight cheekbones or brow bones.
Deluxe Eye Palette in Spellbound: Silky eye shadows and a Gel Liner. Shades include a champagne, bronze, dark silver and midnight.
HyperGloss Eye Shimmer in Night Lights: My fave! Adds shimmer and shine to your eyelids with just one swipe for a multi-dimensional, jewel-like effect.
Nail Lacquer in Midnight Glamour: A bold midnight blue shade.

And, of course, VS has tons of other fab beauty sets! Click here to check out others as well as the ones mentioned above.

Heidi Klum Launches Clothing Line with New Balance PLUS Behind-the-Scenes Video from Her Commercial

You heard the news that Heidi Klum has retired as a Victoria's Secret Angel, hanging up her wings after several years with the brand. Now that gives her plenty of time to spend with her beautiful family (am I the only one that thinks her and Seal are soo cute?!), say Auf Wiedersehen to designers on Project Runway and start clothing lines.

Her first fashion venture? Uhh, HKNB Heidi Klum for New Balance. Not quite what I expected but she's physically fit, so I guess it makes sense. (Work with me...it's not nearly as bad as Jimmy Choo and Uggs, right?).

She is wearing basics from the line in the promo pic above and I have to say it looks fabulous, but then again, what doesn't look great on Heidi? She had this to say about her new line of basics and outerwear, priced at $32 to $168: “Finding and making the perfect basic is a major challenge, and I think with this collection we rose up to that challenge...I think this collection does achieve that perfect blend of versatility and uniqueness."

The line of tunics, tops and leggings will be available exclusively online at Amazon.com, since like many of us, Heidi just loves online shopping!

Will you shop Heidi's new line for New Balance online? Will you shop it? Discuss and watch her commercial and behind-the-scenes video below.

Call The Glambulance: Bed Bugs Attack NYC Stores

This Just In: New York City has a horrible bedbug problem. Seriously.

If you've lived here over a year, and haven't experienced it in your apartment, consider yourself lucky.

The issue is so disastrous, bed bugs can now be found in areas where no one sleeps like your favorite NYC store.

According to The Cut Blog, Hollister in Soho, Abercrombie & Fitch on the Seaport and most recently, Victoria's Secret have all reported bed bug problems. Each of the stores closed to treat the bed bugs and Vicky's Secret specifically removed and destroyed the pieces that the bed bugs got ahold of.

They also enlisted a bedbug-detecting dog (can I get one of those?) and cryonite (which freezes pests dead with carbon dioxide vapor) to detect and kill the pests.

Bed bugs also travel in luggage on airplanes so a good rule of thumb is to constantly launder your garments. And make good friends with an exterminator!

WOULD YOU WEAR?: The Peek-a-Boo Bra Trend PLUS Bra Do's and Don'ts

Don't worry. We're not talking about pulling a Lady Gaga and hitting the streets in a coat and see-through underwear. The new bra trend certainly leaves little to the imagination, but it is a (bit) more demure and covered up than that.

Unless you've been living under a rock, you've spotted starlets like Sarah Jessica Parker, Janet Jackson and Letoya Luckett letting their bra show freely under sheer and lace blouses.

The trend is not for everyone. No matter how stylish or sexy, some ladies have a problem revealing their underwear. (Though in defense of the trend, I would say, a bra is better than nothing.)

Where do I stand? Well, I'm not completely against the look, when it's done right. But unless it's ultra sophisticated (like Janet) or tastefully sexy (like Letoya), it can look tackier than ever.

Check out the celebs who dared to bare their bra, and scroll down for tips:

Posing alongside former Destiny's Child member, Kelly Rowland, Letoya Luckett lets her bra peek out beneath her sheer and leather dress.

Flaunting her new haircut, Janet's lacy, gray bra adds a feminine flair to her sheer top.

Leighton Meester gets daringly sexy with a lace turtleneck and pants, with a simple black bra underneath.

Gwen Stefani makes the look casual with red bra under a slouchy top and pants. The pop of color is perfect for her look.

Katie Holmes leaves little to the imagination under a sheer t-shirt. The look is simple yet sexy.

If you're the kind of daring sex kitten who'd love to show a little lingerie, the following tips are a must:

-This is the most important tip of all. If you're showing your bra, please for the love of God let it be a decent bra. Liza Minnelli's strapless bra was all function, no fashion (only the first of her many offenses in that outfit). Not something you want to incorporate into your outfit.

- Make sure you have the right fit. Sarah Jessica Parker's bra was an epic fail because, well, her boobs didn't look pretty. Since you are putting so much emphasis on your girls, make sure they look perky.   And beware: this trend is not for everyone. Too much cleavage can make you look like you should be in a Playboy ad. Not good, unless that was your intention. Wink.

-When it comes to the Peek-a-Boo bra trend, the operative word is..."Peek." Wearing your bra completely out is not the idea, but showing a hint of lingerie is both subtle and sexy. Though she's adorable, Zoe Saldana's look is a bit much to hit the town in. When rocking this trend, remember to cover up, if only slightly.

- Your bra is not merely a part of your outfit, it is the focal point. So it's no longer there just to support your girls, it's there for style. Go for pretty lace numbers or pops of color that add some flair to your look. Here are some chic bras that are just too pretty to be hidden:

With these tips, would you participate in the new Peek-a-Boo bra trend?

Victoria's Secret Offers Flowers, Fragrance and Mini Makeovers

A gaggle of Victoria's Secret Angels were on hand at the Victoria's Secret store on Broadway here in New York Saturday to launch The Heavenly Flowers scent. Alessandra Ambrosio, Candace Swanepoel and Miranda Kerr signed autographs, took pictures with fans and cut flowers to hand out to moms in honor of Mother's Day. In addition, shoppers were given the opportunity to get mini makeovers.

The Heavenly Flowers scent is a floral-fruity green fragrance with top notes of Juicy Mandarin Watermelon Sorbet, Sparkling Pear and Guava; middle notes of Blooming Gardenia, Lily of the Valley, Apricot Flower, Peony and Violet Leaf; and a dry-down of Creamy Musk and Blonde Wood. Super juicy and extra pretty. The Eau De Parfum ($49) also comes in a Sheer Fragrance Mist ($22) Softening Body Lotion ($20) and a Solid Fragrance Bracelet ($20). The limited edition fragrance will be available for purchase through June 2010.
I was actually given the opportunity to have a little Q&A sesh with the Angels. Here's what they had to say:

Ferocia: What are some of the beauty products that you can't live without during the summer?
Alessandra: I love Victoria's Secret Daily Glow Gradual Tan Moisturizer SPF 15. It gives my skin a pretty glow and I stay protected from the sun.
Candice: I really love wavy hair. Victoria's Secret So Sexy Wave Enhancer is perfect to spritz on at the beach.
Miranda: I love bright red lipstick right now, like VS Makeup Matte Cream Lipstick in Icon.

Ferocia: What's one tip that you would offer to the everyday woman to do to make her feel fabulous?
Alessandra: Smoky eyes make you feel both sexy and fabulous!
Candice: Layering the perfect scent with lotion and spritzing the fragrance on top.
Miranda: I love when my hair is pulled back from my face into a simple ponytail.

Beauty editors and bloggers alike were also given makeovers (in a fabulous VIP section) by two of the artists from the VS Makeup Supermodel Team with products from the Fall 2010 collection, including the VS Makeup Fall Face Kit Collection. The Fall Face Kits are designed for three skin tones: light, medium and deep. Each kit includes 3 eye shadows, an eye liner, mascara and lip gloss along with detailed instructions imprinted on the inside on how you can achieve the look. Priced at $28, it will be available for purchase August-October 2010 and is so new that I don't even have the product in final packaging. However, I will definitely test it out and will let you know what I think. Just from its looks, it seems like a pretty good deal!

Here's my friend April Franzino (beauty assistant at Good Housekeeping) about to get her makeup done at the event. Love her!

Fashion Week EXCLUSIVE: Behind-the-Scenes Video of Marc Bouwer Fall 2010

Marc Bouwer is more than a designer; he's a visionary. The talent behind red-carpet gowns for Beyonce', Jennifer Lopez, Mariah Carey and Rihanna, Bouwer is the first designer to ever host a virtual runway show. Now, Calvin Klein, Michael Kors, Alexander Wang and Isaac Mizrahi are all following suit. (Sidenote: I got an invite to Isaac Mizrahi's show this season! Super excited!).

Marc Bouwer is also a pioneer in his passionate campaign against animal cruelty. In 2002, he was the first designer to present a collection completely devoid of animal products. The groundbreaking collection was sponsored by PETA, who later honored Bouwer with the PETA Humanitarian award.

I was honored to land an exclusive invite to the taping of Marc Bouwer's Fall 2010 virtual runway show. Famous for his eye for detail and sophisticated draping techniques, Bouwer has been one of my favorite glamorous, red-carpet designers. And let's face it, he has amazing hair.

Between dressing Victoria's Secret Angel, Candice Swanepoel, and chatting with the director, Carl Byrd, Marc took a moment to speak with me about the inspiration behind his Fall 2010 collection (chocolate!), his affinity for faux fur and the young, sexy starlet he'd love to dress.

Check out our behind-the-scenes video and read the full interview below. Don't forget to visit www.marcbouwer.com on February 18th at 9AM EST for a front-row seat to the debut of Bouwer's stunning collection.

Coutura: What was your inspiration for the new collection?

Marc Bouwer:  I envisioned a beautiful woman wearing these avante garde clothes walking through a celestial universe and thinking about a past lover. The colors were inspired by a velvet box with a burgundy ribbon that you open up and inside are chocolates in metallic wrappers, hence the jewel tones, the turquoises, purples, burgundies, golds and silvers. Then you unwrap them and there’s this gorgeous, dark chocolate. It's a rich, sensual experience.

Coutura: Chocolate and lovers? Sounds perfect. I see metallic is a strong theme in this collection, which is different than what you’ve shown before. In what other ways is Fall 2010 different than your previous collections?

MB: A little more avante garde and futuristic. Fashion is moving in that direction but it’s not just about padded shoulders. It's all about extending the sleeve---a tight silhouette with explosions in the neck, the sleeves, the hip or the back, in architectural angles. And now that I have three different lines [his eponymous line, the moderately-priced Marc Bouwer GlamIt! and M by Marc Bouwer, a line on QVC], I can afford to be more experimental and spend a little more money with my Marc Bouwer Collection line.

Coutura: You’re adept at changing with the times and the virtual runway show is an example of that. Why did you choose to host a virtual show instead of a traditional show?

MB: We were the first to have a virtual show because I wanted to give the whole world a front row seat: school kids, mothers, editors and celebrities. [Traditional shows have] become a celebrity circus and I'm not so concerned about getting celebrities to my show---they wear my clothes. I want everyone to see it. The disadvantage to putting on a live show during Fashion Week is that it's very expensive, costing $300,000 and more; and editors and journalists can’t always make it.

Coutura: You’re also a pioneer when it comes to anti-fur activism and I’m really proud of what you’ve accomplished, including your PETA humanitarian award. Fur is a huge trend on the runway this season. How are you combating that and offering an alternative in your collection?

MB: People need to become aware of the process: when animals are killed to make fur, their skin is ripped off of them while they’re still alive and they’re thrown in corners to die. If you want that look, technology has given us a way to recreate it. I have a faux fox jacket in my latest collection. To spread awareness, I always speak out at interviews and to celebrities.

Coutura: Speaking of celebrities, Beyonce looked gorgeous in your dress at the launch party for ‘Heat.’

MB: Thank you. She’s beautiful. She also wore one of my dresses in Paris.

Coutura: You’ve dressed so many beautiful ladies, Angelina Jolie, Halle Berry, Sarah Jessica Parker. What celebrity would you like to dress that you haven’t yet?

MB: I've worked with so many. Even the young girls like Taylor Swift and Rihanna. I’d say Megan Fox. And I always wanted to dress Nicole Kidman and finally, we did.

Coutura: Congratulations! I love Nicole. Well, I’m sure celebrities and editors will fall in love with this new collection. Thank you for speaking with us.

MB: My pleasure, thank you for coming.

Don't miss the show: Marc Bouwer Fall 2010 airing February 18th at 9AM EST on www.marcbouwer.com.
