GLAM OR SHAM?: Zoe Saldana's Sultry Video for Calvin Klein Lingerie
She's beautiful, smart and sexy, so it's no wonder Zoe Saldana was tapped to be the spokes-model for Calvin Klein's new lingerie line, Envy.
The alluring ads feature Zoe in the Envy triangle bra and panty set with gorgeous, voluminous hair and a sultry smokey eye. To hear her talk about the Calvin Klein brand and how it enhances a woman's natural shape and beauty is even more fascinating (yay for beauty and brains!). Check out her interview and behind-the-scenes footage from the Calvin Klein shoot.
Don't you just love her?

Zoe Saldana Named New Face of Calvin Klein
After roles in two of the biggest films of the year, Zoe Saldana is showing no signs of slowing down. The Avatar actress was recently named the face of a new Calvin Klein lingerie product.
Beautiful and thin, Zoe certainly fits Calvin Klein's standard of beauty, and her new ads are smoking hot.
The product she's modeling is appropriately called Envy, because, umm, doesn't everyone want rock-solid abs?
Here's what Zoe, and the Calvin Klein president, had to say:
Do you think Zoe's the right choice for the Calvin Klein lingerie brand? What do you think of the ad, shot by Mikael Jansson?

WOULD YOU WEAR?: The Peek-a-Boo Bra Trend PLUS Bra Do's and Don'ts
Unless you've been living under a rock, you've spotted starlets like Sarah Jessica Parker, Janet Jackson and Letoya Luckett letting their bra show freely under sheer and lace blouses.
The trend is not for everyone. No matter how stylish or sexy, some ladies have a problem revealing their underwear. (Though in defense of the trend, I would say, a bra is better than nothing.)
Where do I stand? Well, I'm not completely against the look, when it's done right. But unless it's ultra sophisticated (like Janet) or tastefully sexy (like Letoya), it can look tackier than ever.
Check out the celebs who dared to bare their bra, and scroll down for tips:
If you're the kind of daring sex kitten who'd love to show a little lingerie, the following tips are a must:
-This is the most important tip of all. If you're showing your bra, please for the love of God let it be a decent bra. Liza Minnelli's strapless bra was all function, no fashion (only the first of her many offenses in that outfit). Not something you want to incorporate into your outfit.
- Make sure you have the right fit. Sarah Jessica Parker's bra was an epic fail because, well, her boobs didn't look pretty. Since you are putting so much emphasis on your girls, make sure they look perky. And beware: this trend is not for everyone. Too much cleavage can make you look like you should be in a Playboy ad. Not good, unless that was your intention. Wink.
-When it comes to the Peek-a-Boo bra trend, the operative word is..."Peek." Wearing your bra completely out is not the idea, but showing a hint of lingerie is both subtle and sexy. Though she's adorable, Zoe Saldana's look is a bit much to hit the town in. When rocking this trend, remember to cover up, if only slightly.
- Your bra is not merely a part of your outfit, it is the focal point. So it's no longer there just to support your girls, it's there for style. Go for pretty lace numbers or pops of color that add some flair to your look. Here are some chic bras that are just too pretty to be hidden:
With these tips, would you participate in the new Peek-a-Boo bra trend?

Met Costume Institute Gala: Gisele and Zoe's Sexy Cat Eyes

Besides their beyond hot bodies (Gisele just had a baby! ugh) and their gorge glowing skin, these ladies most obviously had the sexiest eye makeup of the evening. Smoked out eye shadow strategically smudged at the ends into a perfectly winged tip, super black eyeliner and slicked back tresses exude the perfect amount of edge. Their beauty looks are hands down my faves for the night and a look that I myself would have opted for. Love!

WOULD YOU WEAR?: Underwear as Outerwear?
Corsets, slips and lace worn as everyday clothes.
On the plus side, the trend saves YOU money. A lace top, for example, is a piece you can wear under your clothes one day and as the highlight of your outfit the next.
The counterargument is, well, you're rocking your drawers out in public.
My opinion? I'm all for the underwear as outerwear look. Like any good thing (i.e. Louboutins, chocolate, candy), the trend is better in moderation. If you wear head-to-toe lace, you look like a Burlesque dancer, a stripper or Lady Gaga.
But by pairing a corset with a blazer or a lace top with a circle skirt. you achieve the perfect balance of sultry and sophisticated.
When worn the right away, this trend gives your everyday look the most alluring hint of sexiness.

GLAM OR SHAM?: Zoe Saldana at the 2010 Kids' Choice Awards
Zoe Saldana hit the 2010 Kids' Choice Awards wearing Spring's hottest trend: dressed up denim.
The gorgeous Avatar star ruled the orange carpet in a look that screamed casual luxury: an Isabel Marant cropped jacket, Nobody dark denim skinny jeans, L'Agence white tank and Christian Louboutin peeptoe pumps.
Her adorable pink clutch and berry lips added a much-needed dose of color.
What do you think of her casual chic ensemble? Glam or a Sham?

MAGAZINE GLAM or SHAM: Zoe Saldana on the Cover of NYLON
Put Zoe Saldana in a brown paper bag and she'll look beautiful. The It Girl actress has appeared on several magazines this month like Glamour and ESSENCE in everything from a sparkly minidress to a metallic tank. And she's looked gorg on every cover.
NYLON Magazine's April cover is no exception, and yet people have been tearing the cover apart. The funniest complaint is that it looks like an Urban Outfitters ad. I agree but there is something charming about Zoe in a casual, unfussy moment.
What do you think? Is it an Urban Outfitters knockoff? Is it a refreshing look for Zoe? Give your verdict: Glam or a Sham.
Sidenote: say what you want about the cover, but this article may be my favorite. Check out excerpts and go to Nylonmag.com for more.
On learning dance as a child:
“That was the beginning of a beautiful fucking romance. That was my Xanax, let me tell you… it put all my demons in order.”
On Hollywood casting:
“When they say ‘We want to go white,’ they have a very smooth way of saying it, and the recent one is the word traditional. [I’ve heard] ‘Oh, you know, you’re just not what we were looking for, your skin is a little darker.’ Compared to what?! My skin is just my skin. It’s dark if you compare it to someone who’s lighter.”
On meeting James Cameron:
“I’m thinking he probably imagined some Amazonian girl [for Neytiri] – I had really long hair at the time – wearing really little shit with like, a bow and arrow. I had no idea she was blue and nine feet tall. But for some reason, he was like, ‘You look so much like her!’”

MAGAZINE GLAM OR SHAM?: Zoe Saldana's Glamour vs. ESSENCE Cover
Our favorite Pandora native, and Avon spokesperson, nailed the cover of two April magazines: ESSENCE Magazine and Glamour magazine.
While her Oscar gown was a despicable Fashion fail, Zoe looks radiant and ravishing on the cover of Glamour in a printed pink minidress. The cover is soft, feminine, adorable and sexy at the same time.
Zoe goes for a more casual look on the cover of ESSENCE with a gold tank top, a pair of high-rise denim jeans and a flower necklace. I love the idea of a celebrity in jeans on the cover, and am thrilled to see a fresh face on the cover of ESSENCE!
The similarities? Beautiful, flowing hair. Fresh-faced, soft makeup. And in both interviews, Zoe dishes about her love of...sex. (Too much fun under the tree of Souls I guess...you totally have to see Avatar to get that joke).
But which Zoe cover do you love the most? Tell us which one is GLAM and which one is a SHAM.

The Glamazons' Picks for Worst Dressed at the 2010 Oscars
Zoe Saldana looked like a walking pinata. I wonder if Starbursts will fall out if we shake her dress. #Fail.
Miley Cyrus' ill-fitting corset top could easily be found at Forever 21. Not red carpet material, literally. #Fail
Charlize Theron's rosette breasts are just distracting and odd. And incidentally, they do nothing to enhance her figure. #Fail
I tried to defend it, but Ferocia is not a fan of Jennifer Lopez' Armani Prive wedding, I mean, Oscars gown. Yes, it's great to see she hasn't lost that curvy figure, but next time, don't drape it in bubble wrap and call that a dress. #Fail
I don't know whether to love or hate this Marchesa dress on Vera Farmiga. On one hand, the ruffles are striking and very avante garde. On the other, they're intense and attention-grabbing, just not for the right reasons.
Glamazons, who else should have made our list? Do you disagree with any of our Worst-Dressed picks? Discuss.

GLAM OR SHAM?: Zoe Saldana at The 2010 Oscars
Glamour and ESSENCE Magazine Covergirl, Zoe Saldana, traded in Avatar blue for a stunning purple Givenchy Haute Couture by Riccardo Tisci dress at the 2010 Oscar's.
While the sparkly bodice of the gown lit up Zoe's glowing skin, the purple light-to-dark tiered ruffles were extravagant and distracting---resembling something of a bathroom rug. The top and bottom of the dress weren't cohesive, either, and almost seemed like two different dresses were sewn together.
Furthermore, the ruffles seemed to weigh down Zoe's small frame. The tiers looked like they were swallowing her from the bottom up.
The dress did little to take away from Zoe's beauty, though. She looked strikingly gorgeous with an updo pulled off her face and sultry smoky eyes (click here for tips on how to get the look).
What do you think of Zoe's look, Glamazons? Glam or a Sham?

GET THE LOOK: Zoe Saldana at the 2010 Oscars

Thank God that Zoe Saldana had gorgeous hair and makeup last night because that dress she wore by Givenchy was atrocious!

For Zoe's hair, hairstylist Mara Roszak (for TRESemme) said that she didn't want to take away from the dress, so she created an "elegant but effortless editorial look."
Follow these steps to re-create the look at home:
-Apply TRESemmé Naturals Lightweight Mousse all over damp hair and blow dry away from the face with volume, flipping head upside down when the hair is almost dry to finish.
-Separate the crown from the rest of the hair and pull back sides and back into a tight ponytail. Pull the hair almost all the way through, leaving the ends tucked into the pony tail holder to create a half bun shape. Let a few pieces in the back fall out for a messier look.
-Tease the top of the hair, pull back to meet the back and pin, criss-crossing the bobby pins for a secure hold. Spray all over with TRESemmé TRES TWO Two Hair Spray.
-My Stylist Secret: Spray hairspray on finger tips and gently pull the hair around the face with your fingers to loosen the hair, giving it an organic effortless look.
