Kim, Kourtney and Khloe Kardashian are starting a new fashion label. The sisters, stars of their reality show "Keeping Up with the Kardashians," have partnered with Australian designer Bruno Schiavi's Jupi Corp. for a ready-to-wear line.
The Kardashian sisters already have Dash boutiques in Calabasas, CA and Miami. They have also designed a collection for Bebe and a swimsuit line for Beach Bunny Swimwear.
Now, they are trying their hands at launching their own line that will feature RTWs, accessories, lingerie, swimwear, and shoes.
Kim told WWD, "We obviously waited on a big partnership like this for a long time because we've had so many different offers and we wanted to make sure that we had a huge say in the design and that our personalities would come true."
"Designing for BEbe was the perfect first step because it really got our feet wet. Now we feel that we are ready to branch off and do our own thing with a company that is widely international."
Their new venture will not just hit the U.S., it will also target mass department stores in 17 countries, including Debenhams and House of Fraser in the U.K. and Saudi Arabia, Meyer in Australia, and Karstadt in Germany.
Schiavi describes the line as a "tailored look that fits curves."
Khloe added, "All three of us have similar bones, but we have different shapes and sizes – I'm tall, Kim is curvy and Kourtney is petite – and we know how to dress up our best assets. We wanted everything to be no-fuss, buy it and wear it. These are pieces that you could wear the next season or forever."
Every category will indicate each sister's styles. For example the lingerie range, Kim's designs will have an Old Hollywood feel, Khloe's will have rocker with an edge type, and Kourtney will have a bohemian emphasis.
The new brand will debut sometime in 2011.
