GLAM OR SHAM?: January Jones is Red-Hot in Versace at the 2011 Golden Globes

We all know January Jones has no problem showing off her hot body (does her busty GQ cover ring a bell?) but no matter how hot one's assets are, there is really no excuse for dressing this way for The Golden Globes. 

The actress wore a red Versace gown that looked like a one piece bikini worn under a fringe skirt. Straps of fabric covering your golden globes does not say glamour to me, at all.

January paired her look with a Versace clutch patent leather pumps and satin clutch and old Hollywood classic waves and red lips.

Magazine GLAM: Lebron James Lands the September Cover of GQ

The most hated man in America, next to Mel Gibson...and maybe Chad OchoCinco, Lebron is certainly loved by the press.

After covering the new issue of Sports Illustrated, the dapper gentleman (who I had the pleasure of meeting at the Gucci for FFAWN event) has just landed the cover of GQ (pic above is from his last cover in February 2009).

Word has it he bumped out Ryan Reynolds for the coveted spot (wonder if Ryan will join forces with Cleveland and burn a jersey, or Lebron's old GQ cover or something).

Sources at GQ tell WWD that they planned the shoot before Lebron's hyped decision to join the Miami Heat, which means they're uber lucky because they couldn't have picked a better time. Whether people love or hate Lebron's move to Miami, they are certainly talking, and reading, about it.

What do you think of Lebron's decision, and the accompanying ESPN special? Will you pick up GQ's new issue or are you tired of hearing about him?

I won't tell you my opinion (for fear of getting attacked...which should tell you enough already) but let's just say Miami's my favorite place to escape to also Lebron...

Glam or a Sham: Rihanna's GQ Cover

Hey Glamazons!

Rihanna's racy reign continues with her latest magazine cover and spread in January's GQ to promote her amazing new album Rated R. In a pair of leather hot pants, a bodysuit with a deep V and a suggestively cropped white sweater, Rihanna serves up lots of edge and sex-soaked attitude for the cameras.

Though I've blogged about how Rihanna's skimpy outfits can be seen as over-the-top, the GQ cover may be a different story. Hear me out. It's a Men's magazine, widely recognized for it's sexy covers---one of which featured Jennifer Aniston in a tie...and nothing else.

Still, I'm sure an onslaught of criticism awaits Rihanna for her new, provocative spread.
