Beyonce, Fergie, Rihanna, Kim Kardashian: New Year's Eve 2011 Style Roundup

Working in fashion and entertainment, I rarely need a reason to party. But welcoming 2011, and celebrating the end of a decade, is as good a reason as any.

I threw a party at my house and invited all my family and old friends, and had a glamtastic time bringing in the new year with some of the people I love the most.

Our favorite celebs seem to do the same with appearances, performances, toasts and laughs at some of the hottest party spots across the country (but mostly in Vegas).

Here's a look at some of the most darling and dapper celeb looks on New Year's Eve.

Lady Gaga, Janet Jackson, Kim Kardashian, Heidi Klum and More Dress up for Halloween

Hey Glamazons!

I hope you all enjoyed your Halloween weekend. I sure did. Halloween might be one of my favorite holidays of the year because I live for playing dress up. I even had two costumes this year (yes, festive is my middle name!) but more on that later.

Several celebrities got into the Halloween spirit this year as well from Rihanna who tweeted herself getting cozy with a skull above, to Lady Gaga who dressed up as Cruella Devil to Kim Kardashian who made a beautiful little Red Riding Hood. Scroll down for our favorites and tell us who you think had the best costume!

And remember to send your costume to us at theglamazonsblog@gmail.com (also you can hit us via Facebook and Twitter) for a chance to be featured on the blog.

Ciara dressed up as Storm from X-Men designed by Joseph Altuzarra and I have to say she looked BEYOND fab! So much so I might be stealing that costume for next year. Love the black catsuit and color contacts, but a white wig and cape would have made it even hotter!

Every year Heidi Klum outdoes herself and this year is no exception. She dressed up as a Transformer with fellow robot, husband Seal. The stilts, red hair, purple glitter body paint and fab silver hardware details are so major! Everyone from Marc Jacobs to Joe Zee tweeted their praises.

After tweeting pictures of herself in four costumes (all below), Kim Kardashian stepped out to Heidi Klum's annual costume party at Lavo in a red riding hood costume. Love her subtle makeup and killer red shoes.

Oh, and publicist and BFF, Jonathan Cheban was her Big Bad Wolf.

Kim tweeted pics of herself in four costumes before choosing Little Red Riding hood. The pirate was my favorite, but sister Kourtney rocked that look instead with Mason in tow. Cute!

When it comes to theatrical stars like Lady Gaga, one has to wonder: what does she dress up as for Halloween? I mean, everyday they're a walking Halloween costume, right? Well, we have our answer: Cruella De Vil.

Gaga's costume really just consisted of a dalmatian coat, black briefs and red pumps. Apparently, she was surrounded by an entourage of women dressed up as her dalmatians as well.

For Colored Girls star, Janet Jackson showed up at the Lanvin party dressed up as a gangster. Fierce! A mustache, fedora, cigar and gorge feathered heels completed the look. Didn't she nail it?

Who was your favorite out of our Top picks? And here are some other celeb costumes that wowed us this year:

Ellen Degeneres as Snooki's poof! Dying at the Cabbage Patch doll on the floor

John Legend as Anthony and girlfriend Christine Teigen as Cleopatra

Gwen Stefani made my day with her cow print pants!

Snooki dressed up as a pickle. Umm, okay.

Lala Vasquez made an adorable sailor

Would you wear...Lace-up Pants like Kim Kardashian and Kelis?

Everywhere I turn these days, I'm seeing lace-up boots like my fabulous pair from Topshop (more on those later). It will be a huge trend for Fall, and I'm not mad about it! There's something so refined and equestrian about boots with laces.

But taking that trend to pants? That's where it gets tacky in my opinion. The S&M-esque pants scream Lady Marmalade...like a corset for your legs. I just expect to see boas, false lashes and whips; and to smell plastic when I look at these pants.

Nonetheless, trendy starlettes like Kim Kardashian and Kelis have been rocking them lately. Kim wore a black pair of lace-up pants while out in NYC with Kourtney Kardashian and Mason; Kelis rocked a green velvet pair of lace-up leggings in Dublin, Ireland at the Guinness Storehouse for Arthur's Day celebrations.

Both of them looked a funky cheap mess to me. What do you think? Would you wear lace-up leggings?

While the lace-up leggings look is not my favorite, I know there are Glamazons out there, including Kim K. and Kelis, who love the look. For that reason---and after a request from one of our readers, Chantal B., I found some lace-up options online, for Luxe and for Less. Check them out:

GLAM OR SHAM?: Kim Kardashian's Swimwear Line Beach Bunny Hits the Runway in Miami

As we reported in April, Kim, Khloe and Kourtney Kardashian have set their sights on swimwear, with a new sexy line "Beach Bunny" designed in collaboration with Angela Chittenden. Well, the reality star's designs hit the runway for the second time (first was Bebe) recently to display the latest swimwear collection at the Raleigh hotel in Miami Beach.

And my verdict? Swimwear is their calling. It's sexy, flirty and wild, and isn't that the Kardashian sister wardrobe to a tee?

The silhouettes seductively skim the curves showing as much skin as possible without being completely naked. Well, unless Kim's in a magazine spread, that is.

In a nod to Kim's obsession with pin-up glamour (we all saw her fragrance ad), the swimsuit line featured shapes that would have suited the 50's siren or the modern-day dominatrix. The Miami or California beach girl could find a few staples there too in energetic bursts of colors and splashy prints.

While bikinis will never stray far, cut-out monokinis still seem to be the style du jour. Whether in dominatrix-inspired leather or beach-colored twisted straps, Beach Bunny offered plenty of one-pieces for the trendy crowd.

Still, the collection was defined by dangerous details like S&M strapped suits and lace tied around the eyes (yes, the eyes!) that seemed more suited for bedroom. Whip not included.

Check out the collection, modeled by such names as Jessica White and John Legend's girlfriend, Christine Teigen, and starlets like Selena Gomez sat in the front row.

And the fashionable front row...

What do you think of the styles? Glam or Sham?

Bronzed Beauties: The Kardashian Sisters Launch New Self-Tanner

Because, after all, you can't be on QuickTrim, dress in bathing suits from their swimwear collection or in their clothing line from BeBe without having a tan! Duh.
Kourtney, Kim and Khloe Kardashian have finally dropped the beauty news about their upcoming Kardashian Beauty Line (which we all knew was coming since the news debuted about them being the new faces for PerfectSkin; not to mention Kim's appearance at this year's CEW Beauty Awards) and the first product is none other than the Kardashian Glamour Tan Self-Tanning Gel.
The gel will retail for $34 and is sold exclusively at Sephora stores and sephora.com. Evidently the girls have done their homework because it's chock full of antioxidants and vitamins C, E and D. It also contains the exclusive ingredient Imudulin, which stimulates Vitamin D production for anti-aging effect that softens lines and crepiness. (Just to make sure that older woman know that they can use it, too, I'm sure!)
I'm itching to get my hands on the stuff to test it out for myself. Do you think it will be any good Glamazons?

GLAM OR SHAM?: Kim Kardashian's New Swimwear Line

You guys saw Kim Kardashian's line for Bebe. And many of you deemed it...underwhelming.

So why Kim took that as a sign to create another line, I have no clue. But alas, she has lent her name to a new collection of swimwear in collaboration with Beach Bunny Swimwear via People.com.

The sisters each designed two looks for the swimwear brand, opting for styles that flatter the curvy girl who spends her days tanning on South Beach in Miami. But that's where the similarities end. Kim went for skimpy bikinis, Khloe got fiesty with animal print and Kourtney chose suits with more support in the bust, given her new post-baby buxom body. I'm not mad at the styles, they're all flirty, chic and fun.

And besides, the beach is the perfect time to get a little provocative...so sexy swimwear and the Kardashians are a perfect match.

What do you think of the pieces, Glamazons? Glam or a Sham?

Hit the Gym in Style! Old Navy Activewear for Under $30

It's no secret that Ferocia and I have many addictions. High-fashion glossies (both). 80's Music (both). Old-school Madonna (both). Sky-high heels (Coutura). Hair dye (Ferocia). Soi Chai Lattes from Starbucks (Ferocia). Tall men in suits (both). You get the idea.

But one of our pastimes, especially when Spring is on the horizon, is working out at the gym. As great as it feels to get an amazing workout in (and to see the results after), I cannot stand going to the gym looking a hot mess. Sure, sweat and frizzy hair come with the territory but old, oversized tees and whatever sweats I could find are just not appealing to me.

That's where Old Navy comes in. They recently launched Old Navy Activewear and I love them for it. Adorable bright tanks, printed sports bras, comfy chic sweats and cute shorts to hit the treadmill or yoga mat in style.

And with gym membership rates soaring these days, you'll appreciate the extravaganza sale they're hosting to celebrate the launch. From January 8th to the 21st, you can get GOGA (Go Out, Get Active) bottoms and sports bras for 12 bucks each, graphic tees for $10 and jackets for $15 to $20. Does it get any better?

Celebrities have already caught on. Tori Spelling and Kourtney Kardashian (working on that post-baby bod) were spotted exercising in Old Navy gear.

Check out images of the line, which also includes styles for Kids, below:
