GLAM OR SHAM?: Kristin Davis Dazzles in Gold Vintage Norman Norell at the Sex and the City II UK Premiere

Kristin Davis is simply stunning at the Sex and the City II UK premiere.

The beautiful actress opted for a vintage Norman Norell gown from Decades that evoked 60's decadence and glamour.

Her second look from Decades (Kristin wore a Jean Desses gown from Decades to the NYC premiere), the halter gown boasted dazzling gold sequins and an elaborate jeweled band below the bustline.

Kristin completed the look with Jimmy Choo shoes and lovely, voluminous locks.

Do you love Kristin's glittering gold gown? What's your verdict: is it GLAM or a SHAM?

GLAM OR SHAM?: Kim Cattrall Gives Us Old Hollywood in Thierry Mugler at the Sex and the City II UK Premiere

Kim Cattrall is the quintessential screen siren at Sex and the City II's UK premiere.

The actress wore a vintage Thierry Mugler corseted wrap gown, accented with a colorful Fred Leighton brooch.

The neckline, in which one bust is purposely higher than the other, is delightfully elegant and regal. And the draping elongates Kim's gorgeous figure. Her drop diamond earrings and bracelets made the look even more glamorous.

Cattrall's hair and makeup completed the Old Hollywood Glam look with sultry, marcel waves, full lashes and soft pink lips.

What do you think of Kim Cattrall's sophisticated look at the London premiere? Is it GLAM or just a SHAM?

GLAM OR SHAM?: Sarah Jessica Parker Pays Tribute to Alexander McQueen...and Wears The Most Dramatic Hat

Though we all adored her yellow Valentino moment, it cannot compare to Sarah Jessica Parker's look at the UK premiere of Sex and the City II.

The lead actress paid tribute to her dear friend, the late Alexander McQueen in a gorgeous black and lace gown from his Spring 2008 collection. The tulle and contrast of the lace bodice is so high-fashion, so McQueen.

Sarah Jessica Parker paired the look with a theatrical Phillip Treacy hat with sparkling embellishment and Alexander McQueen black lace platform.

While some think the hat looks like glittering tumbleweed, others think it is an appropriate tribute to McQueen who had a documented love for the dramatic.

As a sign that she is in mourning, Parker wore a black arm band with two stones.

Sarah Jessica Parker was a dear friend of Alexander McQueen and wore his gorgeous pale green dress to the Sex and the City premiere in London in 2008, also paired with a Phillip Treacy hat.

Here's what Parker had to say about the designer at the time of his passing: "He was talented well beyond his years, and the seriousness and unrivaled talent which he applied to his work is in bountiful display year after year and collection after collection," she said. "There has never been anyone like him. And there simply never will be. It has been a privilege for all of us to know you. You will be indescribably missed."

Parker was recently enlisted by the CFDA to present Alexander McQueen a posthumous award at this year's ceremony. And in other McQueen news, Sarah Burton, former director of Alexander McQueen's womenswear, was named Creative Director of the brand.

What do you think of SJP's dramatic tribute to her dear friend? Is it over-the-top or fashionably appropriate? GLAM or a SHAM?

GLAM OR SHAM?: Cynthia Nixon Wears A Long Weave to the Sex and the City II London Premiere

Let me start off by saying: I love the color of Cynthia Nixon's teal Narciso Rodriguez gown. It makes her strawberry blonde curls and eye color pop. Her earrings are also stunning. But that's where the compliments end.

I am the Weave Queen but her extensions looks super thin, and obviously fake. It seems as if Cynthia's hairstylist randomly decided to clip in a track before she stepped out the limo.

A better job of blending, and a thicker head of hair, would've fared better here. And I would've wore my hair off my neck in a gown that boasts such an intricate neckline.

Speaking of the neckline, I would've loved to see Cynthia in a dress that filled out her bust. This dress brings attention to her bustline, and not in a good way.

What do you think? Do you like Cynthia's long hair? What do you think of the gown? Glam or Sham?

After Wearing Plastic to the Sex and the City II Premiere, Liza Minnelli Announces Clothing Line

Word of advice, Liza Minnelli: If you're planning on launching a clothing line, do not come to a premiere wrapped in a glittery garbage bag.

The sartorial offense was made worse by the exposure of Minnelli's bra underneath the plastic off-the-shoulder top. That bra is clearly not made for show, but it could've been worse. She could've went braless. (Did you lose your breakfast yet?)

And to add insult to injury, the whole reason Minnelli is even at the premiere is because of (what I hear is...) a horrible rendition of 'Single Ladies' in Sex and the City II during the gay wedding scene (the irony of Minnelli performing at a gay wedding after her own, well, gay wedding is not lost on me). Sigh.

And now for the kicker, ladies and gentleman. Liza Minnelli considers this a perfect time to try and tell you how to dress. The star is teaming up with HSN for a line of clothing and jewelry dubbed The Liza Collection via All Headline News.

The limited edition collection of apparel and jewelry is inspired by Liza's personal wardrobe and iconic looks. Expect sequins galore (some even show up on a $130 boyfriend blazer) and lots of diamonds.

Of her line, Minnelli says: "My life has provided me the ability to amass a wonderful wardrobe designed by fashion's brightest stars...I am excited to work with HSN in launching The Liza Collection and to have the opportunity to share my favorite looks with millions of women who want to look fabulous and feel their very best."

To buy your own sequins and bling, visit HSN.com and watch the debut on HSN starting June 30th at 10PM.  Let's hope the garbage bag isn't included.

GLAM OR SHAM?: Sarah Jessica Parker's Terrible Outfit at the Sex and the City II Afterparty

There's no doubt about it. Sarah Jessica Parker stole the show in her yellow Valentino gown and blonde highlighted curls (see her look below). But an outfit change post-movie, pre-afterparty proved a disastrous choice.

The leading lady opted for a black sheer top, bra and full skirt for her second appearance of the night...and well, she looked a disastrous mess.

The outfit was very Britney Spears meets Morticia. From the ill-fitting full skirt to the uncharacteristically low-hanging breasts, Sarah Jessica Parker's second look of the night did little to flatter her. It's more fitted for, I don't know, a stripper's funeral than the 'Sex and the City II' afterparty.

Pretty disappointing, especially considering SJP hit the silver carpet looking like this.

What do we think of SJP's second look of the night? Glam or Sham?

GLAM OR SHAM?: Cynthia Nixon in Carolina Herrera at the Sex and the City II Premiere

Actress Cynthia Nixon opted for a classic and elegant Carolina Herrera gown for the 'Sex and the City II' premiere. The black hue, sleek silhouette and dramatic details (ruffles and train) made for a timeless red-carpet look.

Cynthia's chic, minimalist gown was accented by loose strawberry blonde curls, a crystal leaf pin and drop earrings. Her heavy black eyeliner and sparkling clutch glam up the look.

What do you think of Cynthia's elegant, understated look? Glam or a Sham?

GLAM OR SHAM?: Kristin Davis is Pretty in Pink at the Sex and the City II Premiere

For the 'Sex and the City II' premiere, Kristin Davis wore a gown fit for a Park Avenue Princess. Her 1950's vintage couture Jean Desses gown brought vibrant color and sophisticated charm to the red carpet.

The pink silk chiffon gown hugged her curves with its ruching and draped fabric. Kristin paired it with Fred Leighton jewels, a Judith Leiber clutch and Christian Louboutin pumps.

In true Charlotte fashion, her hairstyle was sleek and elegant.

What do you think of Kristin's look? Glam or a Sham?

GLAM OR SHAM?: Kim Cattrall Goes for the Gold at the Sex and the City II Premiere

Kim Cattrall only gets sexier with age. The blonde bombshell turned heads in a curve-hugging Naeem Khan gown with a plunging neckline and empire waist.

The floral print was anything but innocent; it sparkled and shimmied on the red carpet giving her touch of sultry glamour.

Kim paired the look with red lips and waves that channeled Old Hollywood. Her look was equally sexy and sophisticated, which evoked Samantha Jones' on-screen style all the way.

What's your verdict, Glamazons? Is her look Glam or a Sham?

GLAM OR SHAM?: Sarah Jessica Parker Glows in Yellow Valentino at the Sex and the City II Premiere

One-shoulder yellow Valentino! Gold Naeem Khan! Black Carolina Herrera! This red-carpet hotness can only mean one thing: the 'Sex and the City II' premiere is underway.

As I type, fashionable folks are gathering at Radio City Music Hall in NYC to celebrate the premiere of the highly-anticipated film. Though Liza Minelli and even Gabourey Sidibe made appearances, no one worked the red carpet like the fabulous four.

First up is Sarah Jessica Parker. The actress and executive producer channeled Carrie in a resplendent yellow one-shoulder Valentino gown! She paired the look with loose curls and gray roundtoe pumps.

Oh, and she accessorized with her husband (and the star of one of my fave movies, 'Ferris Bueller's Day Off') Matthew Broderick.

What do we think of her look? Glam or a Sham?

MAGAZINE GLAM: The Sex and the City Girls Cover Marie Claire

There are no words to describe how excited I am for Sex and the City II. (Stay tuned, your favorite Glamazons might be in attendance at the red-carpet premiere!).

Fortunately for me (and SATC addicts everywhere), the new Marie Claire issue will satisfy my craving for Manolos, Cosmos and camels until the movie hits theaters. For the June 2010 issue, Marie Claire gives each SATC girl their own cover dressed in a festive, character-appropriate metallic frock.

On the covers, Sarah Jessica Parker wears an adventurous Balmain dress, Kim Cattrall goes Vixen in a Valentino frock (hello cleavage!) and Kristin Davis and Cynthia Nixon model demure Dior. They look equally fabulous.

Check out more pics below plus a clip for the interview. (Summary: the actresses sometimes clash given the demanding filming schedule but at the end of the day, the love, and the labels, are still there.)

SJP on the demands of working on the film: “When you’re on set, you’re working 90-hour weeks, you’re never home, you’re exhausted. There are times when all of us have been sensitive, and sometimes feelings get hurt. But I don’t have any regrets about how I’ve treated people.”
Kristin on how they used to let loose: “When we first started, we would all drive out to the Hamptons together at 4 a.m. on a Friday night after shooting ended and see the sunrise as we arrived. I love those memories.”
SJP on being influenced by Carrie’s style: “I’ve never revealed as much or been so daring or made quite as many triumphant mistakes as Carrie. But I’m now bolder than I would have been had I never played this part.”
Kim on the rumored infighting between the ladies: “The press has to put women in these boxes, rather than show them as the movie portrays them: working together and being powerful. Things just have to be explosive for no other reason then for people’s imaginations.”
